Our Story

Two university friends who built global careers kept seeing the same problem,
and decided to do something about it.

How It Started

The world of work is changing - and becoming harder to navigate. AI is reshaping roles. Offshoring is shifting entry-level opportunities. Remote working has reduced the everyday learning and informal guidance that early careers once relied on. The result: those who need mentorship the most are often the least likely to have access to it.

We saw that mentorship still works - but only when it is structured, intentional, and focused on real progress. So we asked a simple question: How do we build a better model for mentorship in today's world of work? Not just access to mentors - but a structured approach that helps people move forward. We tested this through focus groups, hackathons, and early demo sessions with individuals and organisations. The feedback was consistent: the problem was real, and there was clear demand for something more structured, practical, and scalable.

That gave us the conviction to start building MentorWay.

Where we are now

We've moved from idea to build. We've validated the problem, tested the direction, and developed a platform that we'll pilot in Summer 2026, ahead of our official launch later in the year.

MentorWay is designed to make mentorship:

  • Structured - clear frameworks that create momentum
  • Accessible - opening up access beyond existing networks
  • Outcomes-focused - focused on real skill and career development

Combining real mentors, structured programmes, and intelligent support to help mentoring programmes deliver consistent, measurable outcomes.
